tomorrow 2009 will come. whether we are ready for it or not time always happens. as most, i want my 2009 to be better than my 2008. here are some of the things i want to do:
1. go on a trip to visit a friend in another state
2. boating....in my sperry's
3. get into dental school
4. graduate with honors
5. go watch a movie alone and not feel awkward
6. calling....get better at...cuz i really hate calling people
7. learn photoshop and be a badass
8. get a job that i love
9. not be able to walk away from my birthday party :)
hmm of course there is more but thats all my brain can think of at the moment. i shall update this if....i mean when....i accomplish my list. it will be a good year.
PS : im going to colorado tomorrow if all goes well...pray that all goes well so i can see real snow...not that fake texas snow i talked about in my previous blog
PSS : i just had the best christmas of my life. i got everything and exactly what i wanted.

Brunette <3
I just dyed my hair brown....take a look!
and there are some things you should know about dying your hair so dark:
1. you get a ring of dye around your head next to your hair line so if you planning on going to a black and white christmas party the night you dye your hair be prepared to look like an insane 5 year old just colored all over your face
2. you can't be blonde for 2 years....im trying to come to terms with that
3. brunettes have more fun! i had more fun in my first night of being brown than my last 4 months of being blonde.

finals! oh my!
this week was / is finals week! so needless to say i havn't slept a normal 8 hours in the last two weeks! (that might be a lie but its something close) so anyways i was studying at school in the library - the most logical place to study right? well i walk in and find it under construction! yes its been under construction all year long but there were at least real lights! They have little hanging latern lights hanigng from the ceiling attached to thousands of feet of that orange cord...uhh whats it called? extension cord!
so then i find a cozy nook....yes there are three people at the same table as me with their computers and ipods but hey thats cozy this time of year...and begin to study and study and study my life away! Then 2 am rolls around......
heres a little background knowledge:
okay i go to UTSA and we have this thing called the Fountain of Luck and supposedly its tradition to stick your hand in the fountain during finals time for good luck, i saw supposedly because im a senior and have never and have never seen anyone put their hand in that water! in fact i think it is something that they just made up so to try to instill traditions within our student body...but at UTSA no one gives a crap!
I walk outside to my get to my car to get exactly 3 hours of sleep - one complete sleep cycle. (see mom i have learned something in college: how to succesesfully pull all nighters) and the fountain of luck is turned off....WTF! thats bad karma! a fountain of luck turned off at the exact time luck is needed the most! and the school wants us to use this thing and believe it can help us! psshhhh!
BTW...after my biochem final S talked to me for like twenty minutes....the best twenty minutes i've had in two weeks :)
PS: i did stick my hand in the fountain! and it was badass!
PSS: next semester i plan on swimming in the fountain! surround myself with luck as the dental school application process begins!

Snow In Texas....TEXAS!
Okay so I'm about to share with you all a little story...thats pretty typical for my life but will sound rediculous to you all - at least i hope. so i work for an aftermarket auto service industry and we have a retail location right next to our corporate office...so when the parking lot is full here we park at the store. well i get a call from the store director next door....my car is being towed! WTF! so i run downstairs and outside (and its snowing out there...in texas....snow and texas....no they don't go together....in fact texans look like dumbass' when it gets cold because they have nothing to wear...our philosophy...leggins and a beanie can make any outift a cold weather outfit...FAIL) and my car is halfway onto the tow truck. grrr...apparently someone with a toyota (oh boy i happen to have a toyota too) called the tow truck because they needed towing so they assumed it was my car! really! is that something you are allowed to just assume?! UHH anyways...so I had to rescue my poor baby car from the creepy unable to speak english tow truck dude! A day in the life.....
Stay tuned guys....this is MY life.....
BTW i lied...it wasn't snowing during the day in Texas but it did snow the night before in Texas which is kind of a big deal....the guilt finally caught up with me...

Creating A Blog
so obviously i created a blog today.....which sounds easier than it acutally is....
first you have to have a gmail account - i didn't have one. and making a email isn't easy. your email address either has to be bad ass funny or professional. iheartjustintimberlake doesn't cut it these days. and you can't have an email that you have to explain when you give it out. i once had an email address that was jrangel4e.... jr was the initials for my crush.... angel was for angel (don't i sound sweet)... and 4e meant forever. LAME! so anyways i went the professional route...not very creative i know but hey! it works! oh and one of gmails security questions is what is your frequent flyer number....like really? really!
then you have to name your blog....again stressful! its so hard to sound as kewl as your friends! why am i the lame one? just the girl next door - well it means im not the hot girl, im not the book worm, im not the stellar athlete...im just me...and i have a neighbor....so to someone - im just the girl next door....
that will probably change like 168431567 times as my brain makes me kewler! and that is all! soo i have a blog! yay!
